'Ia' ora na (that's "hello") from Bora Bora!

I'm reviewing hotels here in the South Pacific, and my first stop is the Conrad Bora Bora Nui, the largest resort on Bora. The hotel was rebranded as a Conrad (it was previously a Hilton) in April 2017, and after a top-to-toe reno, emerged with 114 suites, 84 of them dreamy over-water bungalows and several with their own ocean-facing infinity pools.

My kinda neighborhood!

CBB was the first over-water bungalow resort here, and it also boasts Bora's longest beach, a quarter-mile sweep of sand as fine as confectioners' sugar.

But its claim to fame is a pair of plush Presidential suites, 4,300-square-foot cloisters which are reportedly the only two-story over-water suites in the world, tricked out with every amenity you could want, and some you didn't know you needed.

Yesterday I did a Facebook Live tour of the plush pad for Islands' audience, and today I'm sharing it with you. Check out the pair of videos (Part One is here, Part Two is here) and start salivating.

And then, because rates start at $7,500 a night, you better start saving, too!
