Anguilla Update: Hotels

If you’re considering a winter vacay on Anguilla but are concerned about where to stay, I have two words of advice for you: Don’t be.

Because although the island’s “big six”  (Malliouhana; Zemi Beach House; Belmond Cap Juluca; Four Seasons Anguilla; CuisinArt Golf Resort & Spa; and The Reef) won’t reopen until later in 2018, more than 600 hotel and villa rooms - many right on the island’s superb beaches, - are available right now!

When I visited at the beginning of December, Shoal Bay Villas, Paradise Cove, Allamanda Beach Club and The Manoah Boutique Hotel were up and running.

And I was warmly welcomed at The Fountain Resort & Residences and Carimar Beach Club, where I stayed.

As of mid-December, Meads Bay’s Frangipani Beach Resort and CeBlue Resort have reopened, and Anguilla’s newest resort, Quintessence Hotel, debuts on Long Bay on January 1, 2018.

And in even better news, more than 500 rooms are expected to be ready by April 2018.

But don’t just take my word for it; watch the video and see for yourself!

I've just come back from Anguilla and I can tell you: If you're headed to there in 2018 you STILL have plenty of accommodation options - including a brand-new hotel!
